Auto Expo 2012 makes a green statement

Tata Nano CNG: The latest version of already fuel efficient Nano will get a 35 litre CNG tank under the front row of seats, giving it a range of nearly 150 km on a single tank. While the petrol fuel tank remains untouched, the addition of CNG for daily commutes promises to reduce running costs even further

When is it going to be launched on road? Eagerly awaiting. Also, how would existing nano owners avail the CNG benefit?....mmanal@rediffmail.com

The smaller the car the economical it is to drive. The Tata Nano would be the cheapest car in the world. It maybe small but in terms of fuel efficiency the car would suite for city driving and short distance travels. Accessories like Gas Cans, Funnels & Carriers are no longer a necessity since the car is suited with simple interior enough for four passengers.
