You need to inform the gullible who is taking advantage of them. But let us admit that while reading the morning paper we, at least sometimes, wish journalists had a funny bone.
The website www.gobionastick.com does precisely that and in a straight-faced, journalistic manner. An Indian version of the American website The Onion, the site picks up everyday news to satirise the “sacred” people, organisations and ideas.
So, did you know that mosquitoes were celebrating the record-breaking number of dengue cases, government is investing crores of rupees on low speed rail, a contest will be held on realistic millenium development goals and a couple is banking on Kama Sutra to save their marriage by making sex bearable again?
