Workers of the world, relax

Work less, produce less, consume less and live more. With better income distribution we can all have happier, healthier and less ecologically detrimental lives. That is the credo of the website. It is not written in mirth.

It has links to articles, publications and films that show it is beneficial to be less frenzied. One piece argues, “We cannot just continue to create meaningless work, but must rediscover fundamental values of nature, family, community and the time-honoured practice of hanging out with each other.”

At another place the site takes a dig at environmentalists. “Environmentalism has become about telling people about things that are green and trying to convince them to buy more... You cannot shop your way to sustainability.”
