  • I wonder why don't they use

I wonder why don't they use the same chariot every year, instead of making a new one...it saves many forests.

  • This is one of the many ways

This is one of the many ways how the Jagannath Cult destroys traditional cultures and communities. Why don't they build the chariots with steel and aluminium!? The TATAs, POSCOs, Jindals, and Vedantas of the world would be happy to oblige, for free!!!

  • Millions of trees are turned

Millions of trees are turned into timber every year by mafia, timber traders--none shows concern. Timber used for Lord Jagannath, Lord of millions is put under scanner! Is it a real threat to forest? Can you fight against and stop Timber-traders and Mafia to save some Trees for our God?

  • Good idea with bad targeting!

Good idea with bad targeting! If you are so such concern about the preservation of forest, plz. write report on the unnecessary use of wood for wooden flooring and wooden furnitures which can be easily substituted by the non wood meterials, vis a vis, the 1000 trees for the chariots annually.

  • hey foolish man. Don't think

hey foolish man. Don't think that our lord Jagannath destroy the jungle. When the chariot festival was started no tata, jindal or posco was borne. Jagannath is the god which is built in wood. show our people respect the jungle and protect it. If chariot was build in steel or aluminum how the chariot maker get the job.
