What benefits do I get by subscribing to
Down To Earth magazine?
All subscribers to the Print edition of Down To Earth are entitled to a complimentary subscription to Down To Earth Web edition
In addition to the current issue, subscribers have full access to all past issues in the fully searchable and comprehensive online Archives
From October 2003, Down To Earth Online will also carry a total of 12 supplements on several specific environmental issues, including Water Management, Environmental Health, Industry & Environment, Air Pollution and Climate Change
All subscribers also receive Gobar Times, a monthly interactive and environmental education supplement targeted at children
All subscribers are also included in the mailing list to receive the popular What's New at CSE fortnightly news e-bulletin, which is sent to more than 100,000 CSE friends and professionals who are interested in environmental issues
Why does the subscription page not open when I try to place my subscription order?
This normally occurs when you are using an older or incompatible IE browser. Our site is best viewed using Internet Explorer (Version 5 or higher).
Why does a subscription to the Web edition cost more than a Print subscription for those living in India?
It is cheaper to subscribe to the Print edition (and receive the complimentary Web edition at no additional cost), if you are subscribing from India. The Web subscription is primarily targeted at subscribers living outside India. This is because mailing Down
To Earth Print copies to other countries is expensive. Although we publish and distribute the magazine at cost price, our overseas subscribers appreciate the relatively lower Web edition rates.
However, we offer a complimentary Web subscription to all our Print subscribers (irrespective of where they live) so that all may benefit from the convenience and additional value of the Down To Earth Web edition.
