Ever felt dumped on?

Why is Thom Yorke covered in chocolate, Colin Farrell drenched in coffee and Michael Stipe doused in milk? The answer is Oxfam has persuaded British celebrities to be photographed with various food commodities dumped on their heads, to raise money for the final phase of their Make Trade Fair campaign, entitled Ever Felt Dumped On? The dumped commodities -- from sugar and rice to orange juice -- symbolise the warped world of international trade. Thanks to the developed world's system of extensive farm subsidies, commodities are overproduced in the eu and us, and the resulting surplus dumped on the world's poorest nations, devastating their domestic markets.
