Leaks and cracks seem to trail the Delhi Jal Board (djb) forever. It is now the turn of their bottled water scheme 'Gangajal', whose launch has been delayed. The reason: the jars supplied by the private firm have developed cracks and are leaking. DJB had placed an order for 10,000 polycarbonate bottles to be kept at their five complaint centres. The Delhiites who are used to the erratic ways must be breathing a sigh of relief that the fault was discovered before the sale of the water began.
