One rarely hears of vehicle design competitions. And an ethanol vehicle design contest is definitely unheard of. But the Society of Automotive Engineers International, southern India section, and the Centre for Energy Studies at Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) are set to embark on this eco-friendly venture in India. Called, the National Ethanol Vehicle Challenge, the contest will be held in two categories --the petrol and diesel engine-powered vehicles sectors.
