Fundacin Vida Silvestre Argentina ( fvsa ), the Argentine affiliate of the World Wide Fund for Nature, has acquired a 60,000 hectare farm to create Argentina's first national coastal park. fvsa was able to make the purchase with the help of a us $1.7 million donation from the us -based Patagonia Land Trust, a non-governmental organisation. The farm, located in the province of Santa Cruz, is home to seals, guanacos, pumas, cormorants and penguins.
