Zenergy and Cie of Britain have
developed a monitoring and control
system when fitted with fluorescent
and discharge lighting gadgets
can reduce energy consumption
by much as 24 per cent. Suitable
for industrial, commercial and
public-service lighting applications,
the Zenergy system monitors the
incoming power supply for voltage
fluctuations and reduces the output
voltage to a preset level through
a specially designed transformer.
The system is fully automated and
can function 24 hours a day, if
required.
