Good job bringing this to light. People won't realise how huge the problem is and municipalities are woefully ill equipped to...
Agreed; mining can never be sustainable, but then how do you get the metals to make all the things you need in the course of...
Very good piece.
A new la'ser developed by dental
equipment manufacturer KaVoUK
Limited shall save kids from the
dreaded ordeal they face at the dentist's. The use of lasers, though common in dentistry, has had limited
success due to their inability to
remove both the materials composing a tooth: the hard outer enamel
and the softer inner dentine. Lasers
currently have the capacity to
remove only one of these. Although
the new laser produces a concentrated beam that cuts through both
the layers, it is fit for use on children
only. The laser is much too slow to
be able totreat adult dental problems
like removing old metal fillings.
