With climate change and global warming looming large on us, green business is the new buzzword. This site would be useful for those who intend
to go along this trend.
Run by an US organization, also called Echoing Green, the site says "it identifies talented, yet unproven, social entrepreneurs who are dedicated
to addressing the root causes of societal challenges". Echoing green fellows are given seed grants to help transform innovative ideas into action.
Named after a William Blake poem, Echoing Green does not limi itself to providing funding. It also helps social entrepreneurs achieve their
potential through a range of support services, including training and networking opportunities. Technical assistance is also provided
to help new leaders build organizations, increase their organization's capacity, and manage growth. They also facilitate peer-to-peer learning to
enhance leadership skills and ensure organizational sustainability.
Echoing Green regards its fellows as collaborators and the organization hopes investing in them will build long-term relationship.
