Walking down a beach in Kanyakumari we noticed a stall cobbled together with tables of various heights. A man was calling out loud, trying to interest us in his wares. Sea shells. Journalists on an environmental course, we had taken a little time off to enjoy the beach. A shell seemed a quaint memento to take back home. Some of us decided to stop by.
