Aparna Krishnan and her husband, Nagesh Kolagani moved to settle in Paalaguttapalle (Dalitwada) in 1996. Here, as part of the community, they engaged in various local issues including Ayurveda, livelihoods, and agricultural and water issues. The #PaalaGuttaPalleBags effort,where the local women have got together to make beautiful cloth bags in their effort to beat the devastation of drought, is based here
