While India is drowning in its own garbage, some people are turning discarded egg trays into biofuel bricks. On one hand the country is becoming the third largest garbage generator in the world, on the other farm residue is taking form of disposable tableware and plastic bottles can now be worn as shirts. All this is happening to ensure waste is reused in innovative ways. It’s a matter of concern that more than 45 million tonnes of waste in India remains untreated.
