Spinning mills to get subsidies on installing solar panels

The Maharashtra government has set up a committee to finalise details of a proposed subsidy for cooperative spinning mills and textile units on opting for solar power.

Solar power for farmers in Maharashtra

Through agricultural feeders, the state government is planning to supply 1,000 MW solar power to farms under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana.
