BANGLADESH COLD WAVE

Bangladesh experienced its worst ever cold wave that killed at least 220 people in the western and northern districts. Biman Bangaladesh, the national airline, cancelled many of its domestic and international flights due to heavy fogs blanketing the affected regions. Authorities distributed blankets to the victims to protect them against the 7C and the 8 kmph winds.
