Serge Renaud, the French scientist who had earlier proved that drinking wine is a heart-friendly activity, recently came up with some more heartening news for wine lovers. According to him, two to three glasses of wine per day keeps no, not the doctor, but death away. Yes, if Renaud's claims are correct, then a daily intake of the intoxicant can reduce death rates from all causes by as much as a whooping 30 per cent.
