Coronavirus update: India tally crosses 100,000

India’s official tally for cases positive to the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was at 101,139 May 19, 2020 morning, according to the Union health ministry.

• Among them, 58,802 were active cases
• The death toll was at 3,163.
• The global case tally was at 4,894,098.

• The global death toll was at 320,180.
• Russia’s tally has leaped to the second-highest with 290,678 cases.
• Brazil was at No.4 with 255,368 cases.
