Concessions will be offered for locally manufacturing solar equipment

The solar manufacturing policy, which will be finalised by July-end, may offer sops to domestic solar equipment manufacturers.

Hydropower generation takes a dip

Lowering water levels in reservoirs has led to a 20 per cent decrease in amount of hydropower made in the country, says data from the Ministry of Power.

All power to Modi’s claim and none to Bijnor villages

Although poles were erected a decade ago to electrify Dalelnagar village in UP, but this and around 475 other villages of the district have never seen electricity.
