In early 2009, a group of photographers, educators and musicians established a charity in 2009 to support campaigns against problems of climate change, poverty, the wasteful use of resources, population expansion, habitat destruction and species loss.
The project takes its name from the Bob Dylan song: A Hard Rain is Gonna Fall. British photographer Mark Edwards, one of the site’s editors writes how he was inspired by the song.
In 1969 while he was at work in Africa, Edwards was inspired to illustrate each line of the song.
In the years that followed, he travelled to over 150 countries to photograph our headlong collision with nature. The site contains these photographs.
