attract readers and advertising revenues from manufacturers and retailers who are suddenly walking the earth-friendly path. The National
Geographic Society has also rolled out a new site: Green.National Geographic.com. That site includes environmental news, how-to videos and tips on
eco-friendly travel and activities.

democracy and the promotion of good governance in Africa by initiating and advising on programs and policies," the magazine's editorial collective
