A new software called Exchange programme has been developed by the US-based Microsoft corporation, which can be used.as a tool for managing corporate mail and will allow groups of workers to share documents and projects. The programme will give direct competition to the popular Notes software of Lotus Development, now owned by IBM. Both Exchange and Notes are incorporated in software 'suites' groups of complementary programmes -for corporate users who are switching key computing tasks from mainframe computers to smaller and less expensive servers.
