Girls migh be talkative, but it is not their fault. They are born like that. Recently conducted research shows that baby girls are born more advanced than their male counterparts. Peter G Hepper and his colleagues from the Foetal Behavioural Research Centre at Queen's University of Belfast, UK, examined 39 unborn babies -- 20 female and 19 male. Using ultrasound, they found that girls make more mouth movements in the womb than boys. Scientists also correlate this finding with the survival of more baby girls as compared to boys this age. Girls can feed more rapidly and successfully due to the rapid movements of their mouth (The Lancet , Vol 350, No 9094).
