-- Electric vehicles are suffering a setback because of the policies of the Nepal government, which is discouraging their import and use. This charge was levelled by entrepreneurs who met at a seminar organised by the Environment Sector Programme Support (ESPS) and the Electrical Vehicle Association Nepal (EVAN). They also pointed out that the concentration of particles in the air in Kathmandu Valley was higher than the WHO limits. And this was because of the exhaust of diesel and petrol vehicles.
