Frito-Lay is, however, keeping the green bags for its original flavour. Even as the company goes back to its older wrapping for the snack in the other five flavours, research is on to develop packing material that is not just bio-degradable but also low on the decibel level.
The FritoLay spokesperson claimed that the customer feedback, besides the noise issue, had been extremely positive.
