>> Cinemas in Japan have cancelled shows of Cove, the Oscar-winning film about the country’s annual slaughter of thousands of dolphins, after campaigners from far-right political parties threatened to disrupt the screenings.

>> Phnom Penh’s Water Supply Authority has been given the Stockholm Industry Water Award 2010, in recognition of its performance in providing water to people in the Cambodian capital. The award is given every year by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering in Stockhlom.
