>> A new Code of Best Practices for Sustainable Filmmaking has been developed in the US to help filmmakers assess and reduce the carbon footprints of productions. It was created by the non-profit Filmmakers for Conservation and the American University's School of Communication in Washington DC.

>> A survey in England on Darwin's 200th birth anniversary revealed more than 50 per cent people believe supernatural forces are behind life and only 25 per cent believe in the theory of evolution. The Rescuing Darwin project conducted the survey.
