>> Dovletmurad Yazguliyev, Turkmenistan correspondent of the news agency Radio Free Europe, was warned by the authorities about his critical reports on the explosions at a weapons depot near the capital, Abadan. Eyewitnesses say scores of people were killed; the authorities said only 15 died.



>> Hackers have launched an attack on a transport agency that cut off mobile phone services at San Francisco stations to prevent protests. Hacking group Anonymous announced on Twitter that the private data of 102 Bay Area Rapid Transit (Bart) police officers had been leaked. It claimed responsibility for disabling Bart’s marketing website, myBART.org.
