>> India will host the 2008 Live Earth India, a concert for the climate crisis, which will feature musicians, performers, environmental advocates and celebrities from across the world. The event will be held on December 7 2008 at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
>> The US Environmental Protection Agency is encouraging employees to be more eco-friendly at work, with a new online tool, Energy Star @ Work. The tool provides tips and information on how to save energy and protect the environment. The tips include replacing the bulbs in desk lamps with Energy Star qualified CFL bulbs, which use about 75 per cent less energy than incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer.
