attract readers and advertising revenues from manufacturers and retailers who are suddenly walking the earth-friendly path. The National
Geographic Society has also rolled out a new site: Green.National Geographic.com. That site includes environmental news, how-to videos and tips on
eco-friendly travel and activities.
>> A new bi-monthly magazine, Windows in Africa, was launched recently. "It's mission is the promotion and protection of human rights, democracy and the promotion of good governance in Africa by initiating and advising on programs and policies," the magazine's editorial collective said.
