There is a new guide book for judges in Australia that suggests ways to deal with gay men and aboriginal people. Jurists are also urged not to use sporting analogies -- such as on a sticky wicket -- in court when dealing with someone from an ethnic or migrant background.

It seems Sting is as legendary for his musical flair as he is for supporting sustainable wood. According to www.treehugger.com, 77 per cent of the wood utilised in the construction of his Mini Martin guitar, of renowned makers C F Martin and Co, originated from 'Smartwood' certified forests, which are managed in a sustainable and ecologically responsible manner.
