Water world
Want to know about the rivers of Cyprus, history of water management in Morroco or about waste water recycling in Jordan? Log on to this UNDP-run site on water. The portal has interactive exhibits and virtual meeting places, where participants share their experiences on water governance with UN water and development experts, external specialists, NGOs, partners and other actors in the field.
The site is the culmination of the efforts of UNDP's network of practitioners and experts, its Bratislava Regional Centre and the Sub-Regional Resource Facility for Arab States. Here, information and knowledge is being codified through the contributions of UNDP water practitioners within regional Water Governance Communities of Practice. WaterWiki is another such online knowledge map and collaboration tool for practitioners in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
