An Indian court recently allowed two Russians to leave the country more than two months after they had been arrested in August 2001 for illegally collecting large number of butterflies, moths and beetles from Sikkim (see 'Biopirates in the dragnet', Down To Earth, Vol 10, No 9, September 30, 2001).
