Union Budget 2022-23 key pointers: One window green clearances

The SEZ Act will be replaced with a new one and with more state participation.

Chemicals custom duty reduced.  
 
Long-term capital gains to be taxed at 5%.
 
Unblended fuel to attract an additional duty of Rs 2 per litre.
 
Duty cut for some inputs needed in shrimp aquaculture.
 
Duty on umbrella raised to 20%.
 
Rationalisation of duties on agri equipment that are now made in India.

The Budget 2022-2023 lays transformation in the next 25 years through India's century of India's independence. Energy transformation and climate action will be the two core which will dictate the transformation.
