A US based professor has launched Aquapedia, a web-based repository for information regarding the water sector.
The beta version currently hosts 14 case studies, 8 of which have no information posted yet. The creator of the site, Shafiqul Islam of Tufts University, has attempted to establish a collaborative environment where lead authors work with editors to ensure credibility and objectivity of the content. However, none of the case studies uploaded on the beta version mentions the name of the author.
While the study materials published are open to comment, feedback and contributions, it would help to identify the informant. People can apply to join the editor network or even submit a case study for their region.
