Recycling pact

Pakistan's Karachi district government has struck a deal with the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) to reuse treated effluent. Under the pact, the city government will provide a sewage treatment plant of KWSB to Va Tech Wabag, a private company. In addition to this, the firm will get 4.45 hectacres of land for running the project on licence. Karachi governor Naimatullah Khan said that the project would help tackle pollution in the city.
