However, despite the rain, the city’s air quality did not improve. The average air quality index (AQI) in Delhi at 4 pm on January 27 was 336 (‘very poor’), compared with 241 (‘poor’) recorded a day earlier, The Hindu reported.

Such is the pollution in Delhi that even rain does not help. Unless the city’s authorities have the will to bring about change, the bad press regarding Delhi’s air is not going to stop.
