Immediate and present dangers call for a scream, an occasion for posters. Modernity has turned dangers into a complex matrix, where a poster cannot be expected to scream Stop Climate Change. A set of 13 posters on climate change, curated by Himanshu Verma of Red Earth and released in an exhibition at Max Mueller Bhavan in Delhi, reflects a myriad anxieties. These posters have information about emotions. Thirteen artists reflect upon anger, cynicism, hope and fear generating out of the greatest anxiety humankind has faced--climate change.
