<p>The Kisan Credit Card allows a loan of up to Rs 1 lakh without a farmer having to mortgage his land. But many banks still demand land as collateral. Basant Lal's son shows his father's Kisan Credit Card, which was used to avail a loan of less than Rs 1 lakh. Lal was asked to mortgage his land.
