  • This is nothing new. I presented these in my book published in 2011: Gren green revolution: Agriculture perspective of climate change. FAO reported on an average the waste is 30% a global level. I presented it for India at 40 to 50% and wasted associated natural resources used to produce that. Each country has its own reasons for such waste. In India one of the component is non-availability of storage and timely transport facilities.
