Tawang: Paradise threatened by Mega Dams

On May 2, 2016, police fired at a group of protestors in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang District. Two people were killed and 19 others were injured. The protestors wanted the release of Lobsang Gyatso, the leader of Save Mon Region Federation, a body of monks and locals opposing big dams.
