  • This is a very wrong cartoon to defame badarpur plant.
There are so many plants and industries around delhi which pollute so much more and have no boundation to curb pollution. But why only Badarpur is targeted. Badarpur power plant is maintaing world standards of pollution norms. It is serving delhi electricity demand. Every plant makes some pollution. If people are so much concerned about pollution they should stop using electricity.
Delhi people burn lots of petrol in a still car for ac and nobody gives a shit about pollution.

    • Sir, I think why only Badarpur Thermal Power Plant is being targeted in the above cartoon because it is the most polluted power plant according to the rating analysis by green rating project.
I second your opinion sir, i know that in India all the Thermal Power Plants have low efficiency rate and their pollution generating capacity is just soaring up.
But I guess, the cartoonist, would like us to focus on the most deleterious Thermal Power Plant, so that as a concerned citizen we might act in some way towards it.
