Environment Friendly Bombs Sweden
Grenades kill. Period. However, that is not what has caught the attention of researchers at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. These scientists have devised destructive throwable bombs that will eliminate the same number of people but will go soft on the environment and also be cheaper. The research team from the institute, led by Elisabeth Hochschorner, suggested that the copper in the grenades be replaced by plastic, so that harmful copper residues don't linger in the environment. Ironically, most of the residues are deposited during practice detonations.
