Fungi, bacteria and dust accumulation in the ventilation ducts of largeoffice buildings is the main reasonfor the deterioration of the same.Such buildings can now be nursedback to good health thanks to atreatment offered by Prime Clean, aSwedish company, and the RoyalTechnical University in Stockholm.To clean the ducts, rotating brushesand compressed air are used.

The cleaning nozzle makesabout 15,000 to 20,000 revolutionsper minute, thus loosening the dirt.When the nozzle is pulled back, thecompressed air blows out the dirtfrom the ducts, leaving behind aclean ventilation system.
