To allow villagers access to many4ontechnologies available to them 140before they decide to implementAIMthem, the Society for Rural %IVIndustrialisation (SRI) in Ranchi,A@Bihar, has set up a rural technologypark in the Chaingati village *inRanchi district. The park is the firstemof its kind in the country whichawmallows the villagers to first see and "-60 -try out for themselves the various uMpermanent exhibits. Later on, if they -wish to adopt any particular.,jprocess, SRI provides the guidance. :jAccording to A K Basu, director,SRI, the scheme has been a great success.
