The air quality situation in Delhi and surrounding cities has shown some improvement following rainfall on January 15 but the foggy mornings are here to stay for a while.
The rainfall also resulted in the AQI in Delhi dropping to 294, categorised as 'very poor' from the 'severe' levels of over 400 earlier this week but a marked improvement compared to previous days.
The fog has led to dozens of flights and trains being cancelled on a daily basis.
