Watch your footprint

imageIN recent times, there has been a spurt of online resources that inform people of their carbon footprints.

But most of them are programmed for people in the West.

Enter www.no2co2.in. The website has dedicated webspace to calculate carbon footprints from Indian cities. The site has also calculated footprints of mega events like the Indian Premier League. Hotels and other businesses have also come under the scanner.

The people who run the site say the website has built up expertise in breaking up and analysing the processes and systems around us—the things we use, the food we eat, how we travel, where we stay, how we socialise.

Participants receive e-certificates as permanent reminders of their carbon emissions. Take the test optimised for your city and find out your footprint.
