damaging the famed Makgadikgadi salt pans during filming. This has attracted much ire from ngos. Mary Rice, head of
the Environmental Investigation Agency, which conducts conservation projects in Botswana, said Top Gear "could lead to many boy racers
driving on the rare wonder".
