>> Skype and Facebook are embarking on a partnership which can change the future of telecommunications.

They will have access to one billion users. The new Skype for Windows will have a facebook tab. Skype users can link to facebook and call their friends on their mobile or even video chat on the social network.

>> Indonesia withdrew the law under which government had the right to ban publications considered to be a threat to society. The law had been around since the 1960s and was used frequently to quell public dissent. Government can still use the anti-pornography law and a 1966 regulation banning communist material to censor “sensitive” publications.
